the premiere of "what would jesus buy?" was great. More q/a from the good reverend billy, morgan spurlock and the director (sorry I don't remember his name offhand**- he wasn't very talkative) as well as a great performance by the entire "stop shopping gospel choir" followed the movie.
I thought the film was very well done. Like "super-size me" it was a serious message delivered with a good dose of humor. the plan is to have this documentary released at christmas time.
**This post, as well as all others at SXSW 2007, were posted on the spot via my Palm Treo. Some details slipped through the cracks. Thanks to the comment on this post, I was reminded that the director of the film is Rob Van Alkemade. **

Our director's name is Rob Van Alkemade, and just for the record, he is absolutely fabulous. He got hit by a truck and had his liver damaged while making this movie, but he still made sure to rejoin us by Christmas to shoot the final scene. He is FIERCE.
Thanks for the update. It really was a treat to get to see this premiere. I can't wait till it is out for all to see.
